No, unfortunately, you are not allowed to bring your own floats to Red Clay Resort. The only exception to this rule is for babies who require their own flotation devices. Yes, you are allowed to bring a cooler to Red Clay Resort. However, there is a $3 fee per cooler. We do not allow alcohol or glass products on the premises at any times for the safety of our guests. The pool at Red Clay Resort is approximately 13-feet deep in its middle section and beneath the high-dive, which we call the "drop-off." However, if you'd like to ease in slowly, there are areas along the concrete that do gradually get deeper. We also have certified lifeguards on duty at all times to ensure the safety of our guests.

In short, yes! But, it's summer...in Georgia, so the water feels great! The water is spring-fed and remains at approximately 68-70 degrees F. It may feel chilly at first, but once you get used to it, it's incredibly refreshing on a hot day. Plus, the cool water is perfect for those who want to escape the heat and enjoy a relaxing swim. Unless dangerous storms are forecasted, Red Clay Resort opens daily and waits out the rain. You may swim in the rain, but you may NOT swim whilst it's thundering/lightening. A fifteen-minute waiting period is established for every roll of thunder. We do NOT offer rainchecks; please check the weather before driving out. Check Facebook for closures due to weather.

Yes, you can! At Red Clay Resort, we offer daytime party bookings for our guests who want to celebrate with their friends and family during the day. You simply pay the daily rate for each person, and you can enjoy a fun-filled day with your loved ones. However, please note that if you are planning a larger gathering, it may be more cost-effective to book an after-hours party. Our after-hours parties cover 25 swimmers and are perfect for those who want to enjoy the pool with their guests. The cost to rent the pool at Red Clay Resort is $250 (Mon-Thu), $300 (Fri-Sun) for a 3-hour period for up to 25 swimmers. On holidays, the cost is $300 for the same period. If you need to invite additional swimmers, it will be charged an extra $5 per person. To reserve a date, a $50 deposit is required, and the dates are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

After-hours reservations at Red Clay Resort include access to pool facilities, one grill, one lifeguard per 25 swimmers, music, corn-hole, volleyball, a picnic area, lifejackets, single inner-tubes, and cake/ice cream storage. You are welcome to decorate the space as you see fit and may also bring in outside amenities such as a bouncy house or cotton candy machine, as long as the property is properly restored.

At Red Clay Resort, we understand the importance of an enjoyable experience for our guests. Therefore, we are pleased to inform you that due to the size of our resort, we are able to host up to 3 after hours parties per night. This means that you can enjoy your time with your friends and family without feeling overcrowded. If you would like to reserve the entire pool for your party, you just need to reserve all 3 slots for that night. We assure you that we will make your experience at Red Clay Resort a memorable one.

We understand that plans can change, which is why we offer a flexible cancellation policy. If you need to cancel your reservation, we require a 14 day notice to receive your deposit back. If you cancel within 14 days of your reservation, your deposit will be forfeited. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with our cancellation policy.
